Summary:
Story of a promoter/adventurer who takes a crew, including a beautiful woman, to a mysterious island to capture a ledgendary giant ape. The ape is taken to New York City for display, but its desire for the woman causes it to escape, wrecking havoc everywhere, until a final stand atop the Empire State building. This version includes running commentary by Ronald Haver and his short feature, King Kong: a video documentary.
