"The fables in this book are letterpress printed ... by the students at Art Center College of Design at Archetype Press, using hand-set metal type and ornaments, under the direction of instructors Gloria Kondrup and Heidrun Mumper-Drumm. Tandem pages are printed on translucent UV/Ultra and Mohawk Superfine. The books are hand-bound by Alice Vaughan using Zerkall Ingres papers for both the cover and end sheets. This edition consists of 75 copies. A special edition of 25 copies is bound using hand-painted pastepapers by Claire Maziarczyk and presented in a slipcase."--Colophon.
