The English was corrected by Cathy Miranker; the Russian was corrected by Stanislav Shvabrin. The frontispiece painting is by Stan Washburn. The types are Bembo, in 16 point, for the English, and Modern 8A, in 12 point, for the Cyrillic and transliteration. For display the script type is Ariston. ... The paper is Italian mould-made Magnani. The printing is by letterpress on a Miller TW two-color cylinder press for the text and by offset lithography for the frontispiece. The binding is handsewn with linen thread over linen tapes; the cover has a goatskin spine with cloth over boards. The two-volume Princeton University Press edition accompanies this publication to provide additional material and commentaries by Nabokov.
