Summary:
George Washington Carver, portrayed by Paxton Williams, talks in an interview-type setting of his birth as the son of slaves and growing up in Missouri. He pays tribute to his mentors, talks about his artistic nature and his enrollment at Simpson College. He describes the circumstances of his transfer to Iowa State College where he studied and later taught. He shares his philosophy of helping farmers, his research with peanuts and other crops, his religious faith and the many years he spent at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama.
