Summary:
Juan García Ponce is known as a novelist, playwright, author and translator. He is considered one of the great Mexican intellectuals of the 20th century. He has compiled over 70 literary works, translations, essays, films, etc. He has received numerable recognitions including the "Emeritus Creator" of the National System of Creators, the Xavier Villaurrutia prize, the Guggenheim grant, and the Rockefeller grant. This program interweaves passages from the life of the writer with scenes from the movies in which he participated.
