Summary:
Choudhury Baldev Singh is a London based newsagent pining for his native Punjab. He wants to return to Punjab forcing his daughter Simaran to marry the son of his old friend, whom neither have met for twenty years. Before going to India, Simran goes on a European tour where she meets and falls in love with Raj. Father disapproves of her love affair but at the end Raj wins him over and marries Simran.
