Summary:
This 26-part program explores the many structures and every major function, system, and organ of the human body. Uses the latest diagnostic tools fitted with cameras to provide interior views, while conversion of the entire human body to a computer database provides high resolution, three-dimensional color images of anatomical and physiological processes. The series divides this information into the following broad categories: introduction to the body, the senses, sleep, cell duplication, the urinary tract, digestion, muscles and joints, mechanisms of defense, hormones, the nervous system, the circulatory system, reproduction, the aging process, and a review.
