Summary:
Join host Ira Glass and his company, as they bring a different theme to life each week, in the format of the popular Chicago radio show by the same name. In Reality check, we hear the stories of three people who hatched plans to make their dreams come true, only to be brought back to reality by unpleasant outcomes. Growth spurt introduces the viewer to three people who simply will themselves to the next stage of their lives, with mixed results. The Camera man introduces us to a young filmmaker who sets out to expose his alcoholic step-father, but instead creates a portrait of a flawed family; and animator Christopher Ward creates a piece about the perils of watching life explode from the safe distance of a camera lens. God's close up reveals stories where the faithful and not-so-faithful cross paths, trying to closer to God through pictures. My way explores the cost of stubbornness among four subjects. Pandora's box brings three stories of the unexpected consequences of trying new things.
