Summary:
In 19th century England, Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Whiting) meets Dr. Henry Clerval (McCallum), a surgeon who is conducting experiments that will give him power over death. When Clerval dies mysteriously and horribly, Frankenstein continues their experiment using Clerval's brain. At first, his creature (Sarrazin) is breathtakingly beautiful, but soon, he begins to degenerate. Horrified, Frankenstein escapes and returns to his old life in London with his new wife. But the creature has grown more cunning in his search for his creator, and Frankenstein has no idea of what awaits him.
