Summary:
Adam hasn't cut his hair since his mother and sister died in a car accident two years ago. As he struggles with the loss, his father copes by drinking and withdrawing from the world. To make matters worse, it is the summer before his freshman year and an older student is determined to cut Adam's hair before school starts. Adam finds himself turning to his grandmother and Father Dan for comfort and realizes sometimes to hold on you must let go first.
