Summary:
An out of touch British author who distains the 20th century goes to the movies for the first time in 20 years and by accident sees a low budget American teen movie and becomes captivated by a young actor appearing in it. As this attraction becomes something of an obession the author travels to New York takes great pains to meet this man.
