"An animated fantasy supervised by Sugii Gisaburo and based on a novel by Kyogoku Natsuhiko, whose works have inspired several films including Ubume. Blending characters depicted in a hand-drawn style with three-dimensional computer graphics, it creates a unique visual world in 3D. Tofu Kozo (voice: Fukada Kyoko), who simply stands around holding a dish with tofu on it during the Obon festival, is an outcast in the world of monsters for his timidness and inability to scare humans.
