Summary:
It's the seven Band-Aids floating in the local pool that clinches it. From now on, twelve-year-old Cassie is going to swim in the manmade lake that covers Old Lower Grange, her family's former town, which was drowned on the day she was born. It was a momentous day for everyone, especially her classmate Liam, a kid with telltale scars who starts joining Cassie on the lake's forbidden side.
