Summary:
In City of Peril, Daniel Zwerlding discusses natural disasters and the effect they will have on New Orleans. Travelers rate New Orleans as one of their favorite vacation spots but scientists see a more troubling vision of the city. Daniel interviews several experts regarding their view points on how the city will deal with a receding coastline and what would happen if a level 5 hurricane hits the city. Interview with Arundhati Roy on the subjects of American power, global dilemmas, political activitism, non-violence resistance and why she got arrested in her native India. In Distant Neighbors, Joe Contreras discusses the invasion of Cuba buy the US dollar. Currently many U.S. food companies are doing $100 million of business in Cuba, thanks to recent changes in American law dealing with the trade embargo. The transformation these changes are making are discussed.
