Summary:
When the Republicans come to St. Paul for their convention, danger stalks Lucas Davenport at work and all too close to home. Revenge-minded petty thief and paraplegic Randy Whitcomb targets Lucas's pretty fourteen-year-old soon-to-be-adopted daughter. A young man with a .50 caliber sniper rifle and a right-wing-crazy background roams through a city now filled with the most powerful politicians on earth. Meanwhile, a professional robbery crew is in town, targeting political moneymen with briefcases full of cash and hoping to make a last big score by hitting a hotel vault. As events heat up, the action bleeds across the border into Hudson.
