Twin brothers Will and Denny are bound together by blood and stubborn dispositions. Will is tired of looking out for Denny, who has Down syndrome. Determined to compete in the rodeo, Will leaves the family ranch and crosses the wild Colorado landscape to La Junta. His experiences in the arena are memorable, but his plans are derailed when he learns that Denny has followed him.
