This book explores nominal dislocations in simultaneous bilingual French and German language acquisition in early childhood. The study shows that this process involves a grammatical area that is not vulnerable to language influence. In addition, empirical analyses provide evidence that postverbal, non-resumptive subjects are dissociated elements in French as spoken by children. -- Publisher description.
