When the plane carrying Cork O'Connor's wife goes missing in a snowstorm over the Wyoming Rockies, Cork must learn to accept that his wife is gone forever. But then two women show up on Cork's doorstep with evidence that the pilot of the plane was not the man he claimed to be. With this glimmer of hope, Cork sets off to unravel the mystery of this pilot and of what happened to his wife.
