Summary:

Chen Handong meets Lan Yu and pays to start a life-changing relationship. Handong meets Lan Yu more frequently until one night Lan Yu finds his lover seducing a college athlete. They meet again on the night of 4 June 1989. Handong finds Lan Yu saved from being caught by the army's murderous sweep through Tiananmen Square and they restart their lives together. For shying away from his feelings for the boy, Handong married Jingping. But they divorced before long. He runs into Lan Yu again by chance. But fate can play cruel tricks...
