All-State tells the story of a high school girls basketball team and their journey together through one season. In the end, this book is about teammates, the dreams we aim for, and it's about girls and their love of a sport. They are just a group of teenagers living in one of the many small towns in Iowa—the Hoover Knights, a band of girls bound together by the game of basketball. The Hoover High School girls basketball team hasn’t been at the top of their conference in a long time.
